Clare County Council is advising the general public to exercise extreme caution when travelling and moving outdoors again, as the county enters a Yellow Weather Warning in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn.

The Yellow Weather Warning remains in place until 4pm today, January 24, 2025.
Clare County Fire and Rescue Service is working in conjunction with Clare County Council’s Municipal District Engineering Crews to restore connectivity across the road network. This work will continue over the coming days.
The fall out of Storm Éowyn has resulted in large amounts of debris, fallen trees and power lines on the county’s roads.
Clare County Council’s Helpline will remain open until 8pm this evening.
